This large double-issue of the GAZETTE is devoted specifically to an illustrated account of the gardens and chateau at Marly prepared by Charles Mauricheau-Beaupré, conservator of the Palais de Trianon. The luxuriously produced plates which accompany the text, including several illuminated in color by Saudé, are mostly reproductions of early plans preserved in the National archives.
