         No. 56 of 300 copies. This large issue of the GAZETTE is of particular interest for the lengthy contribution on French gardens in America written by Guy de Passillé. The specific focus is on the recent estate gardens designed by Achille Duchêne and Jacques Gréber for wealthy American clients. These are illustrated with 14 gravure plates, several of them folding. There are also sections on Chantilly (by Ernest de Ganay) and Dampierre (by the duc de Luynes). Notes on the society's activities in 1923 are also included.   Folio (51 x 33 cm); 36 pp. with 17 text illustrations + 22 heliogravure plates (3 double page) and one color pochoir plate by Saudé.   Ganay 393.
         Loose in original printed paper wrappers, as issued; a few small tears along wrapper spine, but generally well preserved.
