Lithographing Company, 1894. A colorful souvenir brochure of the first World's Fair to be held in California. Located in Golden Gate Park, the fair grounds were built in six months and remained open for six months. C. Graham, the "director of Color" for the fair provided the drawings which are reproduced here as vibrant color lithographs. The text describes all the major building and exhibits at the fair. A bird's eye view of the grounds is included among the illustrations. Stapled oblong brochure (14.2 x 19.5 cm); 32 pp. illustrated with chromolithographs, many full page, and 1 double page. Original illustrated printed paper wraps, with short creases at corners and outer margin; small stain in outer blank margin, well clear of text and images. $40.00
