The subjects covered are numerous: artificial lighting of the dining table and the placement of plants on the table, wiring and gumming flowers, floral arches, table decorations for Christmas, vases for the breakfast and drawing room, wreaths and garlands around the fireplace, hand bouquets and sprays for the hair, plant-stands for the hall, etc. There are illustrations throughout, many provided to the author by William Robinson.   8vo (18.2 x 12 cm); vi + 163 pp. with numerous wood-engraved text illustrations + 9 wood-engraved plates
