Some of the scenes are of inhabitants of the Tyrol and Trieste; one appears to be from Brussels; the rest are not identified as to location, but costume and occupation seem to be the focus. OCLC locates only the V & A copy.   Oblong quarto (25.5 x 34 cm); 11 chromolithographed plates including title page vignette.            Original cloth backed paper covered boards with printed tile and illustrations on upper cover, lower cover soiled, some edgewear, but still a very good copy with fresh lithographed plates. $500.00
